Brandt Group, Inc. is pleased to offer Keel Blocks in any shape, configuration, specification or quantity. Typically, we produce these blocks with 5,000 pounds per square inch certified concrete, epoxy coated reinforcing steel, old growth and close-grained white oak with embedded lift points. Within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Canada, for orders less than 97,000 pounds, the blocks are poured at our Precast Concrete Institute (PCI) certified plant and shipped ready for use. Occasionally, outside CONUS we cast on-site using our pre-fabricated components.
Options include embossed weights (SAE and/or metric), serialized stainless steel identification plates and integrally applied concrete color. Generally, for government projects, these blocks are poured at our secure, temperature controlled facility under continuous inspection by our client, our in-house laboratory and our full-time staff many of whom have security clearances and years of precast experience. Rigid quality control produces blocks that have a uniform rate of expansion when immersed and/or loaded.
We are a California licensed General Engineering (A), General Building (B) and Hazardous Materials (HAZ) licensed contractor number 881954. We are also a federally certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a California certified Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVBE).
